The weed strain this week is Trainwreck and that name just about says it all.
Laicy opens the show with some thoughts about her period (women, write in with your thoughts – gethighfirstpodcast@gmail.com) and we talk a bit about psychedelic drugs.
Jeff treats us to some GRiZ & Big Gigantic (no, I don’t know where he finds this stuff) and even provides the closing song with a little Steve Miller Band.
The first topic tonight is memories of a better childhood – food, songs, smells… but thanks to Trainwreck, we get pretty far off the main topic a few times.
Then Paul gets really real and dips a toe into the topic of poverty. This is a HUGE topic and there is no way to cover even a small portion of it on a podcast. However, Laicy and Jeff share some personal stories of their experiences with poverty. This is some of the real-est and most personal we’ve gotten so far.
